2017 was a busy year for our team at Strivve; as we move forward, let’s review where we’ve been in our 2017 Strivve Recap.

First, a quick thank you to all our users for your feedback. We couldn’t make Strivve the easiest way to securely manage your passwords and payments without you!

We Launched Early Access

We started early in the year by offering our free service for the first time by opening up early access! Our beta enables users to manage all of their online payment profiles in one place. This marked the beginning of an exciting journey in unveiling Strivve. We are working on the only cardholder solution that integrates machine learning, crowdsourcing, and robotic process automation technology to work with current financial infrastructure and improve customer experience.

The Strivve Team 2017

Spring proved to be a bustling time for our team as we moved out of our old office. Our new home in the timeless Pioneer Square district in Downtown Seattle puts us directly into a hub for Seattle’s startup scene. The move opened up opportunity and collaboration efforts for our business development team and will serve as an environment for rapid growth moving forward.

Expanded Leadership with Industry Trailblazers

In April, we expanded our leadership and assembled an Advisory Board of masterful financial and technology business leaders. Strivve welcomed Jim Voelker, former Chairman and CEO at Blucora, Inc., to provide his expertise and insight in consumer-focused financial technology. May came and Strivve had the privilege of attending Card Forum 2017. We had the privilege of joining the likes of industry leaders such as Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Google, U.S. Bank, PayPal, RBC, and Visa. Card Forum is the only event exclusively created for card and payment executives of the industry’s top issuers, networks, and retailers and we were excited with the opportunity to show off our platform.

In August, we attracted the efforts of two established financial industry marketing experts to further expand our leadership. Strivve welcomed Sandy Zogg and Mark Weber to our Advisory Board! Zogg is currently a Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development at T-Mobile and was previously a Senior Vice President at WE Communications,  a public relations firm where he drove North American growth. Weber is the President and CEO of Weber Marketing Group, an international strategic marketing consulting agency focused on financial services and technical clientele. The two combine for decades of industry prowess and we are very pleased to have them aboard!

We wrapped up our year by adding a consumer payments and loyalty executive, Kevin T. Knight, to our Board of Directors! Knight joins Dave Pool (accomplished technology leader and strategist), Rich Begert (wireless pioneer), and our CEO Chris Hopen in shaping Strivve’s vision and future. The addition of Knight highlights the growing recognition from financial leaders and the credit card/payments industry that Strivve is continuing to develop a breakthrough technology solution addressing a growing pain point for consumers and financial institutions alike.

We hope your 2017 was as eventful as ours! Stay tuned! We have big news coming in 2018.
