Fintech Startup Strivve, Inc. Attracts Industry Experts to Its Advisory Board

Company’s Card-On-File Management Product on Schedule to Launch in 2017

SEATTLE, WA (BUSINESS WIRE) August 2, 2017

Strivve, Inc., a financial technology company who provides the only consumer-focused solution to simply and securely manage credit cards and online payment profiles, announced today that it has added two seasoned financial industry marketing experts to its advisory board. Sandy Zogg, senior vice president of WE Communications, and Mark Weber, president of Weber Marketing Group, an international strategic marketing consulting agency focused on financial services and high-tech clientele, will begin their roles with the company immediately.

“Mark and Sandy are two sought-out authorities who bring extensive experience and excellent track records with consumer-facing financial and technology markets,” said Chris Hopen, Founder and CEO of Strivve. “Their insight and relationships will be invaluable as we begin to share the revolutionary attributes of Strivve with the marketplace.”

Hopen is a technology veteran and entrepreneur who also founded Tappin, which was acquired by Globalscape in 2011. Hopen was also a Co-founder and CTO of Aventail, one of the first SSL VPN companies. Aventail was acquired by Sonicwall in 2007.

Zogg is currently responsible for leading and driving growth in WE Communications’ largest region, North America. He has served in a number of executive roles ranging from startups, multi-million dollar institutions and global firms. He has provided sales and marketing consulting services for over nine years to several standout firms, including T-Mobile, C3-Jian, Aeromedia Networks, Seattle Sports Council, and WNBA Champion Seattle Storm.

“It seems now, more than ever, in our digital, device-driven world, security, peace of mind and ease-of-use with respect to online personal finance are top priorities with consumers, especially as fraud and identity theft continues to grow exponentially,” said Zogg. “Strivve provides a unique solution to all of these crucial consumer issues. The company is poised for making a huge impact in the industry, and I look forward to contributing.”

Weber has been a national speaker, author, entrepreneur, and strategist in financial services marketing for more than 30 years. In addition to his work in the financial services industry, Weber is a board member of Agros International, a non-profit agency building sustainable rural farming villages, and advisory board member to fintech startup Lightmaker Lotto.

“This solution is not only relevant for consumers, but solves a critical business issue for merchants and financial institutions as well,” said Weber. “Strivve’s innovative application of machine learning technology makes payments and card management simple. I’m thrilled to help Strivve as they enhance user experiences and security by providing them more control over their online lives.”

Weber and Zogg join Jim Volker, past Chairman and CEO of Blucora, Inc., formerly Infospace, Inc., on the advisory board.

Strivve is on schedule to deliver its exclusive, free payment profile management product in 2017.
